Executive - Air Freight Exports

Responsibilities:

• Manage and secure space reservations with carriers for air export shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation and billing related to air export operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Liaise with agents and provide pre-alerts to ensure smooth coordination of export activities
• Oversee the settlement process and ensure timely job closing to maintain efficient workflow
• Update and manage payment requests for carriers and vendors, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on time

Requirements:

• A minimum qualification of GCE A/L is required
• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is highly preferred, indicating a strong foundation in logistics principles and practices
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in air exports city operations
• Demonstrating a solid understanding of the logistics and supply chain processes specific to air freight
• Proven track record of handling end-to-end export operations, including documentation, space reservations, agent communications, and settlements
• Deep understanding of air export regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to legal standards
• Knowledge of international trade laws and Incoterms, with the ability to navigate complex export scenarios
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, agents, and partners
