About the job Senior HR Executive
Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment for operational and junior executive roles, including onboarding processes and orientation programs.
- Plan and implement staff engagement activities and recognition programs that foster a positive work environment and promote employee retention.
- Maintain HR databases and employee records accurately. Generate periodic reports related to headcount, absenteeism, and staff turnover for management review.
- Ensure HR practices are aligned with company policies and procedures, while supporting audits and documentation processes as required.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs for operational staff, track training effectiveness, and support learning and development efforts.
- Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to promote well-being initiatives, monitor occupational health requirements, and participate in welfare committee activities.
Requirments
- A Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
- 2 - 4 years of solid HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong command of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and exposure to HRIS systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple HR functions efficiently.
- Good understanding of local labour laws, HR policies, and standard HR practices.
