Job Summary

Our client, a leading automotive company in Colombo, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of financial operations, including financial planning, treasury management, budgeting, taxation, and reporting. The role is strategic and hands-on, requiring strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial regulations in Sri Lanka.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Lead the development of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Analyze financial performance, trends, and KPIs to identify opportunities for cost optimization and profitability enhancement.
• Ensure timely compliance with all statutory obligations, including tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Manage working capital, cash flow, and banking relationships to maintain liquidity and financial stability.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights for strategic planning, investment decisions, and business growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Fully qualified CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA.
• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA is a plus).
• 8+ years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP/financial systems.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
