API Integration & Mobile App Developer (PHP + Kotlin)

Company Overview

Our client is a Malaysian software solutions company with operations in Sri Lanka. They are looking for an API Integration & Mobile App Developer to join their Sri Lankan team

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party APIs (REST).
• Implement secure authentication (OAuth, JWT, HMAC, API keys).
• Build webhooks/callbacks and data synchronization between systems.
• Develop and maintain backend services in PHP and databases in MySQL.
• Support mobile application development in Kotlin (Android) and assist with Flutter/React Native work when needed.
• Write tests, debug issues, and fix production integration problems.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong experience in PHP backend development and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin Android development.
• Good understanding of MySQL and basic mobile app architecture.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and good communication.
• Flutter or React Native experience.
• Experience building webhooks, sync jobs, or complex third-party integrations.
