Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving, checking, and verifying incoming materials against invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
  • Ensure accurate labeling, tagging, and safe storage of materials in designated areas.
  • Maintain up-to-date stock records and assist in conducting regular stock counts and audits.
  • Issue materials and supplies to departments as per approved requisitions.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the Storekeeper/Manager.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the store/warehouse.
  • Comply with safety guidelines, handling equipment and materials properly.
  • Support in preparing reports related to stock movements, consumption, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement, finance, and other departments for smooth operations.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Storekeeper/Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Higher diploma or equivalent; diploma/certificate in Storekeeping, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • 12 years of experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory management (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control practices and record-keeping.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and inventory management software is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock.
