Responsibilities

• Develop and expand sales within the chemicals and water treatment segment by acquiring new customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution-based discussions with clients.
• Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate chemical and water treatment solutions.
• Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining healthy customer relationships.
• Track market trends, competitor movements, and emerging industry opportunities.
• Build long-term partnerships through regular client visits and effective follow-ups.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Business Management.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in industrial chemical sales, preferably in water treatment or related sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in Sinhala and English.
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites regularly.
• Experience in boiler water chemicals, cooling water chemicals, or other industrial chemical solutions is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of water treatment systems, processes, and industry regulations.
• Strong customer relationship management and account development skills.
