Based on the description below, we are looking for a Shopify/Magento Developer with a strong background in design to join our superstar team!

Job Description:



We are in search of a talented Shopify Web Developer to join our team. This role requires a professional with both design and development expertise, as well as substantial experience in Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and launching new Shopify websites from scratch, focusing on creating an exceptional user experience.



Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and understand project goals.
• Develop and customize e-commerce websites using the Shopify platform.
• Customize and extend Shopify functionalities to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize websites for performance, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring seamless website functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Shopify development.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Magento and Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of previous e-commerce projects.
• In-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform, including it's architecture, customization, and extension development.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with Magento and Shopify APIs, integrating third-party components and payment gateways.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-friendly development.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Shopify certifications are a plus.
• Experience with other e-commerce platforms and technologies is an advantage.
• Knowledge of web security best practices.
• Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques.
  

Software Requirements:

• Proficiency in the Shopify platform.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Familiarity with web development tools and IDEs.
• Knowledge of popular web browsers and their developer tools.
