Job Purpose

The Network & Infrastructure Executive is responsible for maintaining the reliability, availability and security of SLEC's infrastructure environment, including networks, cloud platforms, endpoint management and cybersecurity technologies. The incumbent supports business continuity and operational excellence across all SLEC locations.

Key Responsibilities

Network Administration

  • Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and internet connectivity.
  • Manage switches, firewalls and wireless infrastructure.
  • Coordinate network upgrades and technology refresh activities.
  • Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.

Infrastructure Administration

  • Administer Microsoft 365, Azure AD and associated cloud services.
  • Manage SLEC infrastructure services.
  • Support cloud, virtual machines and backup systems.

Endpoint & Security Management

  • Administer:
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Endpoint security solutions
    • Email security platforms
    • EDR/XDR technologies
  • Ensure endpoint compliance and security posture.

Identity & Access Management

  • Maintain user access controls and privileged access reviews.
  • Support MFA implementation and access governance.

Vendor and Service Provider Management

  • Coordinate with:
    • Managed service providers
    • Internet service providers
    • Security operation centre (SOC)
    • Infrastructure vendors
  • Monitor SLA compliance.

Compliance & Governance

  • Support HIA, PDPA and cybersecurity compliance initiatives.
  • Assist with audits, risk assessments and certification activities.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation and network diagrams.

Project Delivery

  • Participate in infrastructure deployment projects.
  • Support technology refresh programs and site rollouts.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.

Incident Response

  • Investigate infrastructure incidents.
  • Participate in major incident and disaster recovery activities.
  • Coordinate recovery activities with vendors and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of infrastructure or network administration experience.
