Position Summary:

My client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse to join our esteemed healthcare team in Singapore. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive and high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established medical protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care:
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
    • Monitor and record patients' condition and document provided care services.
    • Assist in medical procedures and ensure the comfort and safety of patients.
  • Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding ongoing care and treatments.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Adhere to hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Participate in infection control and health and safety programs.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure integrated patient care.
    • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
  • Professional Development:
    • Engage in continuous professional development activities.
    • Keep up-to-date with nursing practices, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
    • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
    • Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Experience:
    • Relevant clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent clinical and technical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
    • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
    • Good problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position.
  • Shift work including weekends and public holidays.
  • May involve exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
