Position Summary:
My client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse to join our esteemed healthcare team in Singapore. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive and high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established medical protocols and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patients' condition and document provided care services.
- Assist in medical procedures and ensure the comfort and safety of patients.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding ongoing care and treatments.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Participate in infection control and health and safety programs.
- Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure integrated patient care.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
- Professional Development:
- Engage in continuous professional development activities.
- Keep up-to-date with nursing practices, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.
- Experience:
- Relevant clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills:
- Excellent clinical and technical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Good problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- Shift work including weekends and public holidays.
- May involve exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
