Health Care Assistants-3 shifts per week

 Job Description:

We are looking for caring Healthcare assistants to join our residential home based in Warrington area ,Winwick, WA2

We recruit candidate based locally only and able to worm minimum 33 hours per week

The Care home provides care for up to 42 residents. The service is able to provide support for residential care, nursing care, palliative care, cancer care, visual, speech and hearing impairments and Parkinson's disease.

Job Types: Permanent, hours: 33-44 per week

Salary: £12.72per hour

Responsabilities include:

  • Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living
  • Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual
  • Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity
  • Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed
  • Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre
  • Answer Nurse Call system, giving assistance as required
  • Answer the door and telephone appropriately
  • Respond accordingly, and pass on messages promptly
  • Report on well-being of Residents
  • Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etc

Requirements for the role

  • Experience in a similar role for 1 year
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player
  • Ability to work on own initiative
