Healthcare assistants to join our Nursing home
Located conveniently in Woodchurch, just outside Birkenhead, this Care Home is a purpose-built care home with 82 beds, which offers nursing dementia care.
The home's caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is thoughtfully designed to support mind, body and soul.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time, hours: 33- 44 per week
Salary: £12.71 -£12.82 per hour
Please NOTE we are not able to provide sponsorship, we do need only care assistants able to work full-time ( 33-44 hours per week)

Responsabilities include:
- Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living
- Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual
- Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity
- Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed
- Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre
- Answer Nurse Call system, giving assistance as required
- Answer the door and telephone appropriately
- Respond accordingly, and pass on messages promptly
- Report on well-being of Residents
- Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etc
Requirements for the role
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Team player
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Previous experience of working with the relevant Service in a Nursing home is mandatory
- Experience with dementia, brain injury and nursing
- Right to work in the UK ,we do not provide sponsorship
- Clear DBS and 2 satisfactory references
