Job Description:
Night Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
- Location: Port Sunlight, Birkenhead (CH42)
- Service: Mental Nursing Home – 62‑bed facility providing respite and nursing care
- Pay Rate: From £19 per hour (depending on experience)
- Shifts: Full-time or part-time available | 12-hour night shifts (8pm–8am)
- Paid Breaks
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK( No sponsorship provided!)
- Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD)
- Valid NMC PIN
- Experience in a care Requirements home setting

About You
- RGN or RMN with experience in a care home setting supporting older adults
- Kind, caring and committed to delivering the highest standards of care
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to lead, support and train junior staff
- Experience in motivating and guiding a care team
- UK Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
- Active UK NMC PIN
- Clear DBS and two satisfactory references
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense and administer medication as prescribed, maintaining accurate records
- Manage stock control and ordering of prescribed medication and medical supplies
- Comply with all statutory and legal requirements including Health & Safety, COSHH and the Care Standards Act
- Deliver person-centred care tailored to individual needs
- Support residents with dignity, respect and professionalism
- Lead and supervise care staff during your shift
- Ensure high standards of care and documentation
- Contribute to a safe, positive and well-managed environment
