Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in a well-established nursing home located in the Leeds area. The home provides high-quality nursing, dementia, residential and end-of-life care, supported by a team of qualified nurses and carers available 24 hours a day. This role is ideal for experienced UK-based nurses or newly qualified nurses seeking a structured, supportive environment with strong clinical leadership, funded training and clear career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of person-centred nursing care in accordance with NMC guidelines.
• Administer medication safely and accurately, following all clinical protocols.
• Complete and maintain accurate clinical documentation and individualised care plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments, risk evaluations and implement appropriate interventions.
• Support residents with complex needs including dementia, stroke-related conditions and physical disabilities.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families and external healthcare professionals.
• Supervise, mentor and support junior staff and healthcare assistants.
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding procedures and internal policies.
• Promote dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing for all residents.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and maintain a calm, professional approach in high-pressure situations.

Requirements

• Current NMC registration (active PIN).
• UK-based or eligible for sponsorship.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to supervise and support other staff members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to older adults.
• Good IT skills for record keeping and documentation.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
