Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our client's upscale dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operations Management:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  2. Guest Experience:

    • Uphold the highest standards of service excellence, ensuring that guests receive attentive and personalized service at all times.
    • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed expectations.
  3. Team Leadership:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance and support to team members to enhance their performance and professional development.
  4. Financial Management:

    • Monitor and control operating costs, including labor, food, and beverage expenses, to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
    • Implement strategies to drive revenue growth, such as upselling techniques and promotional events.
  5. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality cuisine and beverages, collaborating closely with the kitchen team and bar staff.
    • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to maintain the restaurant's standards of cleanliness, ambiance, and presentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in restaurant management, preferably in an upscale or fine dining setting.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including financial management and compliance requirements.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is desirable but not essential.
