Position Overview:

As a Solicitor at our firm, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. Working closely with the owner and Principal Solicitor, you will be responsible for a diverse range of legal tasks, including client consultations, case research, litigation, document drafting, and client relationship management. Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to gather information and provide legal advice
• Conduct thorough research on cases and relevant laws
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Draft legal documents with precision and attention to detail
• Liaise with clients and other professionals, such as Barristers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our client base
• Work closely with the owner and Principal Solicitor to deliver high-quality legal services

Qualifications:

• Current Practicing Certificate and demonstrated experience in all areas of Law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously with initiative while also being an effective team member
• Dedication to building and fostering relationships with clients and referrers
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive matters
• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and other relevant software and databases
• High-quality proofreading, grammatical, and spelling skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work within tight timelines
• Experience using PEXA for conveyancing and other property matters is preferred
