About the job Account Manager

The purpose of the Account Manager is to manage, develop and grow the customer business within a 3PL Warehouse environment. The Account Manager will ensure profitable growth, excellence in operations & customer satisfaction.

Description

The Account Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage key customer accounts by providing sound and proper advice relating to warehouse processes
  • Continually review and improve business processes to improve productivity and add value to business services
  • Conduct regular visits to review service performance with the customer
  • Undertake responsibility for resolving customer issues, ensuring clear understanding of the customer's expectations and requirements
  • Building strong positive relationships with customers
  • Overseeing effective operations quality and standards
  • Collaborate with the other functions / teams e.g Transport, HR, IT, Finance, Marketing to achieve common outcomes

Job Requirements

The successful candidate for the Account Manager role will ideally have the following key skills & qualities:

  • Previous experience within a 3PL / Warehouse environment
  • Sound understanding of warehouse processes
  • Experience leading operations is desired
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
