About the job Account Manager
The purpose of the Account Manager is to manage, develop and grow the customer business within a 3PL Warehouse environment. The Account Manager will ensure profitable growth, excellence in operations & customer satisfaction.
Description
The Account Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage key customer accounts by providing sound and proper advice relating to warehouse processes
- Continually review and improve business processes to improve productivity and add value to business services
- Conduct regular visits to review service performance with the customer
- Undertake responsibility for resolving customer issues, ensuring clear understanding of the customer's expectations and requirements
- Building strong positive relationships with customers
- Overseeing effective operations quality and standards
- Collaborate with the other functions / teams e.g Transport, HR, IT, Finance, Marketing to achieve common outcomes
Job Requirements
The successful candidate for the Account Manager role will ideally have the following key skills & qualities:
- Previous experience within a 3PL / Warehouse environment
- Sound understanding of warehouse processes
- Experience leading operations is desired
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management experience
