Boot Fitter

Located at the base of the Wasatch mountains, Skimo Co (short for the Ski Mountaineering Company) is dedicated to finding, testing, and servicing quality ski mountaineering products from around the world.

We are seeking an experienced boot fitter with a passion for backcountry skiing and/or mountaineering. Product knowledge and enthusiasm for the gear should be evident when helping customers select equipment that is right for them.  We offer competitive wages dependent on experience, plus employee pricing on hard-to-find gear. Gear-specific training provided for niche products we carry.

Duties:

• Fit customers into ski boots, modifying them as appropriate.
• Build custom footbeds for a performance fit.
  
• Educate customers about ski equipment and its usage.
  
• Help with daily operations including sales and merchandising.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Excellent oral communication.
  
• Previous boot fitting experience.
  
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
  
• Friendly attitude.
