Binding Technician

Ski with us in the morning and then with the best crew in SLC! Your primary role will be getting ski gear ready for those who are passionate about climbing and skiing mountains.

Located near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon, Skimo Co is 100% focused on backcountry skiing. We offer competitive wages, opportunities for advancement, and of course, pro-deals on all the tools of the trade.

Duties:

• Mount tech bindings with a level of precision down to a fraction of a millimeter.
• Become knowledgeable of all our binding offerings including mounting plates, nuts and bolts.
  
• Build and trim custom climbing skins with a variety of attachment systems.
• Assist on the sales floor with customers during busy times.
  
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Requirements:

• 2+ years of ski technician experience.
  
• Incredible attention to detail and a very low error rate.
  
• Team player who is willing to assist others when necessary.
• Working knowledge of, or ability to learn, the many details of mounting touring-specific bindings.
• Ability to work on your feet for 7-8 hours.
