Assistant Manager

We are looking for someone with extensive ski shop and backcountry skiing experience to assist our manager and take the lead on days off. Going into our 11th season, Skimo Co is well trafficked by knowledgeable folks looking for updated gear, binding mounts, custom boot fitting, and starting this season, ski tuning. You would be responsible for sales, service, support, and satisfaction in our multichannel retail operation. This is a full-time, year-round position.

Duties:

• Support junior staff in boot fitting, able to take over.
• Handle technical issues with binding mounts and ski tunes.
• Ensure staff are adequately servicing customer needs.
• Put together backcountry ski packages from start to finish.
• Put out fires with demanding customers, ensuring satisfaction.
• Keep the store organized and flowing throughout the day.
• Answer gear-related questions for customers and staff.
