Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced HR Officer to join our dynamic healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources within the healthcare sector, with specific experience in DOH (Department of Health) audits and compliance. The HR Officer will play a crucial role in managing and supporting HR operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and healthcare regulations, with a focus on DOH requirements.
- Manage the recruitment process, from job posting and candidate screening to onboarding and orientation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts, performance evaluations, and training logs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to management and staff on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs to ensure ongoing professional development.
- Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify and address HR needs and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably within the healthcare industry in Abu Dhabi.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and healthcare regulations, including DOH audit requirements.
- Proven experience in conducting and managing DOH audits.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in HR (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi.
- Familiarity with local healthcare accreditation standards and processes.
- Arabic language skills are a plus.
