Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Officer with a strong background in Talent Acquisition to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this critical role, you will support the HR department in managing a wide range of functions with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, benefits administration, and performance management. You will work closely with the HR Manager/Director to ensure that our healthcare facility maintains a highly qualified workforce committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding, for all healthcare-related roles.
Screen applications, conduct interviews, and carry out reference checks to identify qualified candidates.
Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop job descriptions aligned with organizational goals.
Create and maintain a talent pipeline for critical healthcare roles to ensure quick recruitment for urgent vacancies.
Organize and coordinate interviews, job fairs, and recruitment events.
Support new hire onboarding, ensuring smooth integration into the organization, including preparing orientation materials and conducting orientation sessions.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and assist in resolving workplace concerns or conflicts.
Help implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Provide guidance on employee relations policies and assist managers in handling sensitive HR issues.
Compliance and Policy Management:
Ensure adherence to employment laws, healthcare industry regulations, and organizational policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with HR documentation standards.
Assist in the development and communication of HR policies, ensuring consistency across the organization.
Training and Development:
Support the planning and coordination of training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities for staff.
Maintain accurate records of employee training, certifications, and qualifications.
Help assess the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
Benefits Administration:
Assist employees with benefits enrollment, claims, and eligibility inquiries.
Provide guidance on the organizations benefits programs and ensure timely processing of benefit requests.
Performance Management:
Assist in managing the performance appraisal process, including tracking schedules, setting up evaluations, and maintaining related documentation.
Support managers with performance improvement plans and coaching for employee development.
HR Administrative Support:
Maintain and update HR databases, employee records, and HR management systems.
Prepare and submit HR reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, senior management, and regulatory bodies.
Coordinate HR events, meetings, and activities as needed.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition, preferably in a healthcare setting.
