Caregivers

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate, experienced caregiver to provide personalized home care services for a patient requiring specialized care, including Nasogastric Tube (NGT), Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) Tube, and Tracheostomy care. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing these medical devices and be able to offer support to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity for the patient.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with feeding through NGT or PEG tube as instructed by medical professionals
• Monitor the condition and maintenance of the PEG tube, ensuring it remains in good condition
• Perform tracheostomy care, including cleaning, suctioning, and routine checks
• Administer prescribed medications through feeding tubes as needed
• Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor patients vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any concerns to the healthcare team
• Support patients mobility, including repositioning and assistance with transfers
• Document daily activities, health progress, and any significant changes in the patients condition
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for the patient
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure the patients living environment is clean and safe

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably with NGT, PEG tube, and Tracheostomy care
• Certification in CPR, first aid, or relevant healthcare qualifications preferred
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and high standards of patient care
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, empathetic nature
• Ability to follow care plans and medical instructions accurately
• Physical stamina and ability to assist with lifting and transferring patients
• CNA Certificate MOFA Attested
