Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of MEP works for residential and home-development projects in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing MEP project activities, coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, monitoring project progress, ensuring quality and compliance, and effectively managing project resources.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution:
Develop and manage detailed project plans covering MEP scope, timelines, milestones, resources, and deliverables.
Coordinate the integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with overall project requirements.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, and other project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination:
Act as a key point of contact for clients regarding MEP project requirements.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Provide regular project progress updates to management and relevant stakeholders.
Address technical and project-related issues in a timely and professional manner.

Budget & Resource Management:
Monitor project costs and ensure effective utilization of allocated resources.
Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and other project requirements.
Monitor procurement and material requirements to support project schedules.

Quality & Compliance:
Ensure MEP works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and applicable standards.
Conduct regular inspections and coordinate quality control activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant UAE regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
Identify and address quality issues during project execution.

Risk Management:
Identify potential technical, operational, and project-related risks.
Develop and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
Escalate critical project issues to senior management when required.

Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and maintain project progress reports, schedules, and relevant MEP documentation.
Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project status, challenges, and progress.
Maintain accurate project records and ensure proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of UAE MEP experience – mandatory.
Experience in residential or home-development projects – mandatory.
Proven experience in MEP project management and project coordination.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, project execution, and applicable industry standards.
Knowledge of UAE construction requirements, regulations, and relevant authority requirements.
Professional engineering certification/license is an advantage.
Proficiency in project management software and relevant MEP design/engineering tools.
