About the job Middle Strong/Senior Business Analyst
Location: Preferably Lviv, Ukraine, or Eastern Europe.
Employment Type: Full-time.
About UAI Labs:
UAI Labs is a specialized IT consulting firm focused on driving transformation and delivering measurable results by empowering Private Equity (PE) firms and their portfolio companies. We unlock significant operational value by leveraging AI, Automation (RPA), and advanced agentic technologies.
Joining UAI Labs means working across the full PE deal cycle, from acquisition strategy to exit, to identify high-impact initiatives, standardize operations, and execute clear, time-bound value creation roadmaps. You will be part of an Outcome-Driven team that uses proven frameworks (like the BEACON approach) to move from strategy to measurable, lasting results.
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Middle Strong/Senior Business Analyst to act as the pivotal link between business strategy and cutting-edge technology. Your primary focus will be on Robotic Process Automation (RPA), AI solutions, and operational excellence (LEAN/Six Sigma).
If you excel at deconstructing complex PE portfolio processes, pinpointing hidden inefficiencies, and designing robust "To-Be" processes that deliver measurable ROI, this role is for you. You will be instrumental in shaping our clients' automation strategies within our Embedded Execution Model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering & Mapping: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to thoroughly map and document business processes (As-Is and To-Be), identifying prime candidates for automation and standardization across portfolio companies.
- Analysis & Strategy (BEACON Focus): Actively Build Business Cases (quantify benefits) and Establish Direction (prioritize initiatives) using data-driven insights. Analyze and document comprehensive business requirements (BRDs, PDDs).
- Automation Focus: Actively contribute to the design and implementation of RPA/AI/ML solutions, bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution.
- Value Quantification: Develop robust business cases, gather data, and quantify the potential value and ROI of proposed automation initiatives.
- Facilitation: Lead and facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with C-level stakeholders within PE portfolio companies.
- Documentation: Produce clear and structured documentation (process maps, requirement specs, impact assessments, reports).
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Management Consultant, or a similar role, ideally within IT consulting or outsourcing.
- Automation Expertise: Deep understanding and practical experience in Business Process Automation (BPA) and RPA technologies (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Workfusion).
- Proven knowledge and application of LEAN or LEAN Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization.
- Language Skills: Fluent/Advanced English is mandatory.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex, ambiguous information.
- Documentation Skills: Proficiency in requirement gathering and documentation standards (PDDs, BRDs, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria).
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics, Maths, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL basics) is a plus.
What We Offer:
- A highly competitive compensation package that reflects your expertise and our focus on value.
- The opportunity to work on high-impact transformation projects within the dynamic world of Private Equity.
- A collaborative culture, an Outcome-Driven focus, and a high level of autonomy.
- Flexible work arrangements (remote/hybrid options).
