A leading national IT Solutions company is looking for a Sales Account Manager, to join their dynamic commodities team in  Cape Town. We are looking for a driven, goal orientated and energetic professional to continue our steady expansion. This is a full-time sales position and BDE is responsible for prospecting and identifying opportunities to acquire additional business from an existing and prospect base.

Requirements

  • Identify and evaluate opportunity to generate new sales
  • Present and promote full range of products and services
  • Perform needs analysis of customers requirements and promote solution
  • Successfully generate business from new and existing customer accounts
  • Manage complex negotiation with senior level executives, IT Managers and Buyers
  • Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
  • Collaborate with sales teams for effective successful customer handover
  • Maintain CRM-track sales and report activity
  • Meet and exceed targets

Qualifications

  • 3-4 Years quota carrying sales experience in IT Hardware and Printers
  • Demonstrable track record of overachieving Target
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, presentation and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience and working knowledge of CRM Systems, preferably Acumatica
  • Proficiency using MS Office, e.g., PowerPoint, Excel and Word and the internet for research
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability; willingness to take risks and try new approaches
  • Complete Knowledge of OEM processes and business partner solution offerings
  • Complete understanding of sales process and competitive activity
