Role: Internal Sales Support Consultant

Location: Cape Town / Hybrid
Seeking an Internal Sales Support candidate in Cape Town in the IT & Telecommunications-IT Hardware, Printers and Peripherals. This is a full-time sales support position for an account manager.
Requirements
- 3-4 Years experience in Sales Support or Purchasing Position
- Experience in Purchasing of Hardware - Laptops, Desktops & Printers
- Good knowledge & understanding of OEM product portfolio-Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, Lexmark, Asus
- Good knowledge & understanding of Purchasing procedures
- Excellent Administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written skills)
- Proficiency using MS Office, e.g., PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT products
Advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability; willingness to take risks and try new approaches
- Good knowledge & understanding of OEM product portfolio
- Proficiency in Acumatica will be an advantage

Responsibilities
- Achieve team's monthly and annual sales targets
- Manage & Monitor Database of existing and new customers
- Identify customer requirements and promote the product solution
- Complete all quotations efficiently and according to approved, standardized procedures
- Secure orders-Actively pursue and close all quotations & sales opportunities
- Manage Sales orders, back-orders, stock on hand
- Facilitate invoice processing with logistics team
- Develop strong relationship with OEM's and Distributors to facilitate a sales pipeline for team
- Secure stock and place orders with distributors, and manage ETA's and delivery
- Manage Warranty Registrations with OEM's and Distributors.
- Track customer RMA's, for credits, replacements or repairs
- Support team activity in finding and converting new leads and opportunities
Education
- Matric Required or degree in business or other related field preferred
- Certifications in OEM Sales eg. HP/Dell/Lenovo will be advantageous
