Senior Occupational Therapist

Adelaide Paediatrics is a caring; multidisciplinary team committed to supporting children with medical and developmental needs. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based care at our Morphett Vale clinic with opportunities to also work in schools and home settings where appropriate.
What you'll do:
- Assess, plan, and deliver therapy programs for children.
- Complete assessments, progress reports, and NDIS/Medicare documentation.
- Provide referrals and collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals.
- Deliver both individual therapy and group-based programs.
- Mentor junior OTs, students, and Allied Health Assistants.
- Actively contribute to team development, supervision, and CPD activities.
Qualifications:
- Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Eligible for Medicare Provider numbers.
- DHS Working with Children Check and relevant criminal history clearances.
- RRHAN-EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse & Neglect) training.
- Completion of Safer Environments for Children and Young People training.
- Up-to-date First Aid certification (desirable).
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years paediatric OT experience.
- Strong knowledge of NDIS and Medicare processes.
- Experience working with children with a variety of conditions (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Global Developmental Delay).
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, adaptable, and client-focused approach.
- Strong report-writing and clinical documentation skills.
- Ability to supervise and mentor colleagues and students.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; experience with Genie software advantageous.
