At BBC Digital (Sunshine Coast), we deliver innovative digital and electronic solutions to our clients. We are seeking a skilled Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our team and contribute to high-quality installations, maintenance, and repairs of electronic systems and equipment.

Key Tasks

• Assemble, install, and test electronic equipment and systems.
• Inspect and maintain electronic devices to ensure proper functionality.
• Diagnose faults in electronic circuits, components, and devices and reassemble.
• Modify and adapt equipment according to technical specifications.
• Assist with the development and implementation of new electronic solutions.
• Interpret code to plain language
• Repair and replace parts and wiring in machines

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of safety and compliance when handling electronic systems.
• Collaborate with technicians, and other team members to deliver projects.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients and colleagues as required.
• Stay up to date with industry developments and emerging electronic technologies.

Skills & Requirements

• Trade qualification in electronics or relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and systems.
• Proficiency with testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
