FULL TIME - PERMANENT

SALARY: $76 000 to $85 000

Wurtulla Plumbing & Drainage is a well-established plumbing business servicing residential
and commercial clients across the Sunshine Coast. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our growing team.

Tasks

  • Design, Installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, sewerage
    and stormwater systems
  • Interpreting plumbing plans, specifications and building codes
  • Installing and repairing hot & cold-water systems, pipes, fixtures, valves, fittings and appliances
  • Install sewerage, disposal, pressure regulating and pump systems
  • Install drainage systems below ground and gas appliances
  • Testing plumbing systems to ensure safety, functionality and compliance
  • Locating faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment and rectifying issues
  • Performing routine maintenance and emergency plumbing repairs
  • Ensuring work is completed to Australian Standards and local council regulations

Responsibilities

  • Carry out plumbing work efficiently and to a high professional standard
  • Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements
  • Liaise with clients, builders and other trades on-site
  • Maintain accurate job records and documentation
  • Ensure tools, equipment and vehicles are maintained in good working order
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally

Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in Plumbing (Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent) or relevant experience
  • Current Queensland Plumbing Licence or ability to obtain one
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience as a Plumber
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials and installation methods
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Current drivers licence

SALARY: $76 000 to $85 000
