MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
PERMANENT FULL-TIME

Carzaan Nominees Pty Ltd - is an Australian-owned business located in the Bridgetown region of Western Australia. We currently have a position available for a Mechanical Engineering Technician.

Main Responsibilities

• Preparing drawings, plans and designs for mechanical engineering work under the Mechanical Engineer
• Repairs to a range of different types of pumps, electric motors and associated equipment
• Assembly of pump & motors with different types of transmissions on base plates & skids
• Fabricate metal baseplates & control stands cutting, welding, grinding, machining,
• Assembling / fabricating metal and plastic pipework, valves some welding,
• Assemble pumping stations including working in confined spaces, fibreglass work,
• Assist with manufacturing electrical control panels, installing wiring, electric motors, switchgear, etc.
• Assist with taking deliveries, load trucks, pick & pack orders
• Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements
• Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines
• Keep workshop & warehouse clean & tidy
• Assist with site work pump repairs, troubleshooting, installations of pumps and the like
• Assist with site deliveries

Qualifications: An AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2), or at least three years of relevant experience.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in a similar environment
