SALARY $90K to $120K per annum

We support clients across mining, oil & gas, water treatment, manufacturing, and heavy industry throughout Australia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking skilled technical professionals to join our workshop and site-based operations.
We currently have positions available for Fitters (General), Mechanical Engineering Technicians, and Electricians.
1. Fitter (Mechanical Tradesperson)
Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliable assembly, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment used in industrial pumping and sealing applications.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship in workshop and on-site environments.
- Support operational efficiency by minimising equipment downtime.
Tasks
- Assemble, dismantle, inspect, repair and reassemble industrial pumps, gearboxes, shafts, bearings, and mechanical seals.
- Diagnose mechanical faults through inspection, measurement, and testing.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance instructions.
- Perform precision fitting, alignment, and adjustment of mechanical components, as well as fabrication of metal parts.
- Cutting, bending, shaping and installation of pipes
- Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on rotating equipment.
- Test completed assemblies to ensure operational performance and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability.
- Proficiency with hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and workshop machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
2. Mechanical Engineering Technician
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to engineering, production, and service teams.
- Assist in the development, installation, testing, and improvement of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Ensure equipment and processes meet operational, safety, and quality standards.
Tasks
- Assist with the installation, commissioning, and testing of pumps, mechanical seals, and associated systems.
- Prepare and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Conduct performance testing and data collection on mechanical equipment.
- Support design modifications and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist engineers with troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing solutions.
- Monitor equipment operation and recommend maintenance or upgrades.
- Maintain technical documentation, reports, and compliance records.
- Ensure finished work are in accordance with specifications.
Skills
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills applied to real-world mechanical applications.
- Competence with measuring, testing, and diagnostic equipment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
3. Electrician (Industrial)
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems supporting industrial pumping and mechanical equipment.
- Maintain compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Support continuous and reliable plant operations.
Tasks
- Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, motors, and switchgear.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in industrial equipment and control panels.
- Repair and replace electrical wiring.
- Connect and test variable speed drives, motors, and instrumentation.
- Interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
- Ensure electrical systems meet regulatory and operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate electrical maintenance and compliance records.
- Connect electricity system to power supply
Skills
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills in industrial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of electrical standards, safety codes, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Experience working with motors, drives, and industrial control systems.
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

- Relevant trade certification or equivalent relevant industry experience.
