Taggle Systems is a national leader in smart water solutions, with over 300,000 deployed IoT devices capturing and processing billions of data points. Our software enables councils, utilities, and industries to manage water more efficiently across Australia. We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions that support our real-time data platforms. You will play a key role in building scalable systems, integrating IoT data, and delivering advanced functionality across front-end and back-end applications.

Core Duties:
- Analyse user requirements and develop software architecture and solutions
- Design, code, test and deploy software components and system integrations
- Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance
- Build, maintain and scale applications using AWS cloud technologies
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an agile environment
- Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications and operational procedures
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers

Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in VB.NET, MSSQL, T-SQL and AWS services
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, microservices, and containerisation (Docker, AWS ECS/ECR)
- Strong analytical skills and software documentation abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork in agile settings
- Australian working rights required

Preferred:
- Experience with messaging/streaming (MQTT, RabbitMQ), PowerBI, ETL, Sentry/Grafana
- DevOps tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Serverless Framework)
