SALARY: $76K TO $85K p.a.

Overview:

Adrina Construction Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Gardener to plan, construct, and maintain outdoor spaces. The role involves delivering high-quality landscaping projects, including both hardscape and softscape elements, as well as installing and maintaining irrigation systems. The successful candidate will contribute to creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable landscapes in line with client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare landscape plans and drawings, including the selection of appropriate materials and plant species
• Organise and schedule landscape construction activities
• Set out and install hardscape and softscape features
• Construct landscape structures such as paved and gravel areas, retaining walls, fences, trellises, pergolas,
  ponds, barbecues, and outdoor furniture
• Prepare soil, seedbeds, and planting sites for landscaping works
• Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, hedges, flowers, and bulbs
• Establish lawn areas through topsoil preparation, seeding, or laying instant turf
• Determine hydraulic requirements for irrigation systems
• Install irrigation systems, including pumps, pipes, valves, and meters
• Test, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and company procedures

Skills and Experience:

• Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in landscape gardening
• Practical experience in both hard and soft landscaping
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and their installation and maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and may require physical labour, including lifting, digging and operating tools and machinery.
