ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Draughtsman to join our team. As an Architectural Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for our architectural projects. You will work closely with our architects and designers to bring their vision to life through accurate and precise drawings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drafting & Design: Developing detailed 2D CAD drawings, layouts, and 3D models using software like AutoCAD or Revit.
- Applying Specifications: Converting rough sketches, blueprints, and architectural/engineering notes into accurate technical drawings.
- Technical Compliance: Ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Collaboration: Working with architects and engineers to review drawings, identify design problems, and incorporate changes.
- Site Support: Conducting site visits, field surveys, and producing shop drawings for construction or fabrication.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: A diploma or certificate in drafting, architecture, or engineering.
- Experience: At least three years' experience.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup).
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in drafting and modelling, with a focus on producing error-free plans.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge: Understanding of construction techniques, manufacturing processes, and building materials.
