Draughtsman & Estimator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing manufacturing drawings and accurately estimate on  alumininum windows, doors, shopfronts etc.
• Prepare quotes and drawings for clients.
• After client sign off put jobs into production.
• Drafting and Design: Produce technical shop drawings, elevation designs, and cutting lists using computer software like AutoCAD and Bizman.
• Estimating and Costing: Calculate material quantities (glass, aluminium profiles, hardware) and prepare accurate tenders, bills of quantities (BOQs).
• Project Support: Liaise with architects, clients, and site managers, take on-site measurements, and assist with project tracking through to installation
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate or qualification in Drafting and design.
  NQF 4 or NQF 5 Draughting Qualification.AutoCAD Certification.2 to 3 years' experience in aluminium and glass manufacturing.Knowledge of AAAMSA and SAGGA standards.
• Bizman software experience.
• Excel skills.
• CAD skills.
• Strong Excel and estimating skills.
