Overview

Responsible for consultancy, presales, architecture, design, implementation and support across a range of technologies. Works closely with clients, vendors and internal teams - strong customer service, business acumen, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver technical solutions - architecture, solution design, documentation, and "as-builts"
  • Lead client-facing engagements: workshops, kick-offs, UAT coordination, and post-implementation support
  • Own project delivery quality and act as technical escalation point
  • Provide presales support - SOW preparation, pricing/cost estimates, and identifying new revenue opportunities
  • Manage support tickets (level 3), including permanent fix development and vendor issue resolution
  • Contribute to financial targets: billable utilisation, SOW peer reviews, budget escalation (>10% overrun)
  • Support capability development - technology roadmaps, vendor alignment, thought leadership

Experience & Skills Required

  • 5–10 years' experience across: Networking, Cyber Security, Cloud, Data Centre, Collaboration/UC, Compute & Storage, End-user Computing, or Middleware
  • 3–5 years' experience with a systems integrator
  • 3+ years developing technology roadmaps (highly regarded)
  • Certifications valued: Cisco (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE), Palo Alto, Microsoft, AWS, VMware, Aruba, Meraki, etc.
  • Proven experience delivering solutions across Enterprise, Government and SME clients
