About the job Spare Parts Executive
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused automotive spare parts professional to manage spare parts operations, inventory control, and stock coordination across our dealership operations in Anuradhapura, Yakkala, and Ehiliyagoda. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimum parts availability, accurate inventory management, and timely warehouse distribution while supporting dealership productivity, workshop workflows, and customer satisfaction objectives.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining high-quality after-sales operations across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and electric vehicles (EVs) while ensuring efficient coordination between technical teams, workshop supervisors, customers, and logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Spare Parts Operations & Inventory Management (50%): Manage daily spare parts operations, counter sales, inventory monitoring, and warehouse organization. Coordinate parts ordering, receiving, and storage; monitor stock levels of fast-moving items; and maintain accurate documentation according to company procedures.
- Workshop Support & Customer Coordination (50%): Support workshop teams by ensuring timely parts availability for servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across passenger, commercial, and EV segments. Handle customer quotations, manage warranty-related parts coordination, and participate in stock reconciliations and inventory audits.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in automotive spare parts operations, inventory control, or dealership parts management.
- Strong understanding of automotive spare parts, vehicle service procedures, and workshop operations.
- Experience handling parts ordering, receiving, stock tracking, and warehouse distribution.
- Excellent organizational, reporting, and customer service skills within a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Sinhala; knowledge of Tamil is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or qualification in Automobile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Experience working with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) or specialized inventory software.
- Exposure to passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and EV spare parts operations.
- Experience in dealership stock forecasting, planning, and handling warranty parts claims.
