- Build, maintain, and improve infrastructure-as-code artefacts using Terraform, contributing to consistent and repeatable cloud deployments
- Assist in monitoring, alerting, and observability configuration across cloud platforms to ensure environment health and early detection of issues
- Participate in change management processes, preparing change records and implementing approved changes within established windows
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for supported environments
- Contribute to infrastructure improvement and uplift initiatives under the guidance of senior engineers and the Portfolio Lead
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across time zones, including Australian-based platform and application engineering teams
- Apply security and compliance standards consistently across cloud environments, in line with the organisation's governance frameworks

- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation
Highly Desirable
- AWS certification at Associate level (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS SysOps Administrator)
- Microsoft Azure certification at Associate level (e.g. AZ-104 Azure Administrator)
- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Buildkite for infrastructure pipeline workflows
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, Azure Monitor, or CloudWatch
- Exposure to cloud security tooling including Microsoft Defender for Cloud or AWS Security Hub
- Experience working in a financial services, superannuation, or similarly regulated industry environment
- Practical use of AI tools (such as Claude or GitHub Copilot) to accelerate infrastructure tasks, improve IaC quality, or support documentation workflows

This role reports to the Portfolio Lead – Infrastructure Support in the Colombo office. The successful candidate will be expected to work hours that provide meaningful overlap with Australian Eastern Time to support real-time collaboration with the Australian-based teams. Specific shift arrangements will be confirmed during the recruitment process.
