Position Title: Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Holland Area of Michigan.
We are offering a "Sign-on Bonus" of UP TO $5,000 for all new hires for our Maintenance Roles!
Pay is determined by experience and is paid weekly! .. ($24.00 $33.00 / hr)
Schedule: Rotating shift. Shifts are 5:00am to 5:00pm or 5:00pm 5:00am. 3 days on, 3 days off, 2 days on, and 2 days off. Some Sunday work is required based on reworks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team, with minor supervision.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs.
- Perform emergency mechanical or electrical repairs.
- Work with pumps, hydraulics, boiler steam equip., and welding.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
- Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
- Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
- Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance instructions/procedure manuals.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of electrical theory, system wiring, and installation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: 1 year of maintenance experience education preferred (I.E. possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience. Electrician license or journeyman license preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-year industrial maintenance experience or equivalent experience; must have experience in hydraulics and compressed air systems
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills will be necessary to log information, to process daily work orders and to complete required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively and basic math skills are necessary to perform this job at a satisfactorily level
