Job Summary:

The Technical Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in our sales process, working closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, provide technical expertise, and demonstrate how our solutions can meet the needs of prospective clients. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, customer-facing experience, and excellent communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and understand customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical workshops to showcase the features and benefits of our fintech solutions.
  • Provide technical support and expertise throughout the sales cycle, including answering technical questions, preparing proposals, and addressing customer concerns.
  • Articulate and sell our in-house products, packaging and customizing solutions to suit client architectural requirements.
  • Lead and respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information) end-to-end.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product, including its architecture, functionality, and competitive advantages.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and other documentation required by clients.
  • Respond to leading RFPs and RFIs, successfully closing deals with global and regional banks.
  • Work closely with the product development team to relay customer feedback and influence product enhancements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations to the sales and product teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Work alongside Sales Directors to support key accounts throughout the sales cycle.
    
    
    
    Qualifications:
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role, preferably in the fintech industry.
  • Extensive experience working with banks and payment companies, with a background in neo tech startups and fintech.
  • Proven experience in co-selling solutions to bank CTOs, technology teams, and CIOs.
  • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of fintech products, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to address customer needs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time based on client needs and team requirements.
  • Engineering background preferred.
  • Exposure to legacy systems, infrastructure, architecture, and IT modernization.
  • Experience with companies in core banking, payments, open banking, lending, and customer engagement channels is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a solution architect or in product management is beneficial.
  • Prior work experience in banks (legacy or digital) is preferred.
