The Security Advisory business unit is a specialist organization that sits within Global, and is responsible, across Enterprise, Global and global governments, for provision of high end cyber consulting expertise within client accounts by creating value, identifying opportunity, influencing design of solutions and differentiating Security propositions, through an in depth technical understanding of the threat management portfolio and the complex cyber threat landscape. Cyber consultants also deliver cyber threat monitoring specific consulting packages where these can be leveraged to improve the Security reputation within an account or to influence the way a client procures cyber capability to benefit .
Role - Key Purpose
The key purpose of this role is to lead the key strategic customer engagements where world class expertise is needed in Cyber Architecture and Delivery models. The role will support customers on their journey with across all growth portfolio areas and actively seek out new opportunities. Continue to act as an ambassador for Security and promote as a credible provider of cyber capabilities and providing valuable input to consulting opportunities across within Focus/Develop/Incubator accounts to grow Security cyber business.
Accountabilities :
Point of contact to clients as principal security design and delivery on following areas:
- Manage security projects – as a technical project manager
- Review security threats alerts and advise appropriate actions
- Periodic reviews on security control configurations and develop continuous improvement plan
- Collaborate with client in development of security policies and provide advice on how to implement policies
- Perform security assessment, review and develop roadmaps
- Design security solution for tooling - high level design and low level design
- Assessment clients security posture and advice on recommendations and priorities
- Delivery of financial ambition, via the regional strategic account plans, through direct influencing / education of senior client stakeholders on relevant capability.
- Work closely with security advisory team, delivery, sales & Enterprise Leadership teams to provide relationship and capability into strategic accounts at a senior stakeholder level, acting as the face of Security with an expectation of brining credible expertise to the client
Skills Required
- Experience in security technology/tools implementation and management
- Experience in cyber defense operations
- Security consulting using SANS CSC, NIST, FISMA, ISMS
- Knowledge of security risk management concepts and processes
- Track record on manage client projects
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with customers and teams at a variety of levels ranging from senior exec to team members
- Communicate complex technical and industry subject matter to non-technical individuals and in language and terms that can be understood.
- Works with Industry and Partners to articulate value and capability
- Calm & Decisive under pressure – effective at driving calm and effective incident response under pressure at CxO, VP level. (mandatory)
- Extensive experience of stakeholder management and influencing skills at board level, dealing with complex issues and securing sponsorship, commitment and investment

Experience you would be expected to have
- Recognized in the industry as an experienced Information Security expert
- Extensive practical knowledge and experience of threat assessment, risk management and day to day security operations
- Ability to communicate with influence and vary communication to audience and real time feedback
- Excellent strategic leader with a proven track record of building high performing, well-motivated teams and capabilities
- Knowledgeable in strategy, the drivers of organizational performance, and investment - including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (e.g. performance KPIs, business cases, Programme directorship)
- Typically qualified to degree level, or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security or related degree
- Appropriate security qualifications such as CISSP, CISSM
