JOB DUTIES: 


(a) The Quality Assurance Executive is responsible to the Head of Quality for carrying out quality audits in accordance with the established quality audit programme, and ensuring that any observed non compliance or poor standards are brought to the attention of the person concerned via his manager.

(b) Assessment of sub-contractors for extension of the Quality System and maintaining the expertise necessary to be able to do so, to the satisfaction of the CAAM, other relevant Airworthiness Authorities and the Company.

(c) Assessment of external specialist services required to be used by the Company in the performance of maintenance.

(d) Assessment of suppliers of new and used components, and materials, for satisfactory product quality in relation to the needs of the Company,

(e) Preparing MOE, standard practices and maintenance procedures for use within the Company, derived from sources, and keeping them up to date,

(f) Maintaining mandatory records relative to airworthiness requirements and such other records and statistics as may be required by the CAAM, other relevant Airworthiness Authorities and the Company.

(g) Ensuring the appropriate airworthiness standards and requirements relative to supply, storage and issue of aircraft parts and materials are complied with including responsibility for inspection of bonded and quarantine stores and associated stores inspection procedures,

(h) Performing surveillance on the Company, its facilities or other agent facilities to ensure that the CAAM or other relevant Airworthiness Authorities regulatory standards are maintained.

(i) Assessment of candidates and recommend the issue of Company License / Approval to suitably qualified engineering staff to carry out work under the terms of the authorisation certificates.

(j) Ensuring that the requirements of training and continuation training of all technical staff are met and in conformance with the standards and requirements of the CAAM, other relevant Airworthiness Authorities and the Company.

(k) Administer and control the Aviation Safety Management System.

(l) Oversee the administration and monitoring of Authorities and Airline approvals.

(m) Maintain all aircraft records (Aircraft Journey Logs, Deferred Defect Logs, Maintenance Job Cards, and Worksheets) in accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

(n) In the event of the absence of HQ, the designated QAE will assume the role of deputy.

(0) Any other relevant duties as assigned by the HQ.
