Logistic Coordinator

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong understanding of supply chain/logistics processes and current best practices
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese, able to maintain smooth communication with all parties.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in logistics or transport coordination.
• Good time management and problem solving skills, able to respond to emergencies efficiently.
• Proficient in the use of office software, especially Excel.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage import & export containers to ensure the accuracy of the shipment deliveries.
• Liaise with logistics service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Sourcing for third party logistics service quotations to get competitive rates.
• Inventory recording for E-waste, scrap metals, sampling and metallic inventory updates.
• Arrange courier services for documentation, gifts, samples.
• Create work order for the Production Team upon receipt of materials.
• Create invoice & packing lists and update shipment information in Master list file.
• Maintain records of scrap metal weight and issue invoice.
• Proper filing of shipping documentations manually and electronically.
• Upload information and photos of samples into company system.
• Review bills and invoices to prevent over-billing.
• Ensure payments are processed on time.
• Freight cost and documentations audit.

• Address and resolve any logistical issues that arise during transportation, including delays, damages, or lost goods.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and vendors regarding delivery inquiries or issues.
• Track performance metrics (on-time delivery rates, shipment costs, etc.) to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide regular reports to management regarding logistics activities, costs, and performance.
• Monitor stock levels in warehouses and arrange for replenishment as needed.
• Coordinate the movement of goods between warehouses or from warehouses to customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Monthly reports generation including DOE, Police second hand items, sales personnel KPI, freight report, month-end stocks etc
