About the job Accountant

Job Scope:

  • Supervising accounts department, overseeing financial operation and monthly management accounts.
  • Ensure timely financial reporting, tax estimation/revision & submission.
  • Preparing and monitoring budget & financial projection, managing cashflow and funding requirement.
  • Developing, implementing and reviewing standard operating procedure
  • Liaising with Tax Agent, Auditors, Company Secretary in relation to tax, accounting, and secretarial matters.
  • Strategize on fund procurement through financial institutions that involves loan application, redemption, charge and discharge.
  • To ensure compliance with Companies Act, Tax Laws, Accounting Standards, Housing Development Act, Strata Management Act and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinating with Sales Admin department to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Jointly overseeing credit control with Sales Admin department.
  • Reviewing monthly sales report, progress collection and sales target achievement.
  • Managing general office admin, office upkeep, office equipment procurement, computer software and licensing.
  • To assist in feasibility study and cashflow projection for new land bank acquisition, new property development, joint venture proposal, tender exercise etc.
  • Analyzing and developing strategic business plans based on the Company's financial standing.
  • Evaluating financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a property development company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Experience in financial modeling and strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with property development industry practices and compliance requirements
