About the job Assistant Manager, Finance & Account
Job Description:
- Responsible for the overall daily financial function of the company including banking, finance, accounting, budgeting, taxation and statutory filing.
- To initiate and coordinate company financial planning and budgeting processes, including ensuring that budget management functions are implemented and confirm to commonly accepted accounting principles and procedures.
- To work closely with the company management team in preparing and monitoring annual financial budgets, forecasts and projection for company.
- To ensure timely preparation of the monthly management reports and submission of financial reports to management team.
- To ensure compliance to statutory requirements, such as Financial Reporting and Regulations, Income Tax Acts and Companies Acts area adhered to, and that all regulatory reporting requirements are met on timely basis.
- To ensure that billings are issued on timely basis.
- To manage collection and follow up on outstanding debts.
- To ensure proper maintenance of fixed asset listings and tagging of equipment.
- To review and approve all journals and ensure all accounting entries are up to date and accurate.
- To liaise with both internal and external parties, i.e.: bankers, auditors, tax agents and company secretaries, on all statutory and tax requirements.
- To overseas procurement functions of the company and ensure all purchasing policies and procedures are adhered to.
- To undertake any business relates project that is assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- A recognized Degree and/or Professional Accounting qualification in ACCA, CIMA, MACPA or its equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting.
- Pleasant personality with good interpersonal communications skills.
- Proven leadership with the ability to work as part of a team.
