Executive Assistant to the MD
About the job Executive Assistant to the MD
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main liaison between the Managing Director (MD) and stakeholders. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Manage MD's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments. Prioritize tasks to ensure effective time management.
- Prepare materials for meetings, conferences, and presentations.
- Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports for informed decision-making.
- Handle communication & correspondence on behalf of MD, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the MD and other executives.
- Maintain and update company records, ensuring confidentiality.
- Assist in managing special projects and initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support e.g. managing calls & supplies, and other administrative tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an executive assistant to senior management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, assertive attitude, and exceptional written & verbal communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and email management.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive initiative.
- Ability to work independently, be resourceful and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with the construction/buildings/engineering industry or related field is a plus.
