Summary
- Plans and coordinates facility related projects
Position Responsibilities
- Provides hands-on technical leadership and training within department (mentorship).
- Ensures existing facility equipment is running at maximum efficiency (i.e. HVAC, Air Compressors, etc.)
- Drives facility related corrective actions from quality indicators provided by BEI and contractors.
- Establishes justifications for new equipment purchases from corrective actions.
- Assists in the quoting process for new equipment.
- Works with Advanced Technologies in new equipment qualifications.
- Proposes, initiates and monitors facility cost saving projects through completion.
- Ensures all proper documentation is filled out and in place on new and used equipment once in place (i.e. Warranty information, C3 documents, Preventive Maintenance procedures etc.).
- Analyzes data and maintains the water system.
- Plans and coordinates facility layouts.
- Creates, proposes and changes floor layouts.
- Establishes and questions move priorities.
- Participates in the moving process to ensure expediency and completion.
- Facilitates layout meetings.
- Initiates and completes ECOs for layout on a regular basis per procedure.
- Identifies floor layout issues and relays them back to the work center team.
- Plans capacity as it relates to physical product flow.
- Audits layout on a regular basis.
- Takes responsibility for facilities inventory accountability accurately signs parts out of stock.
- Takes responsibility for facilities work order accountability fills out work orders properly and promptly.
- Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing activities requiring PPE usage for safety reasons including but not limited to respirators.
- Reviews and recommends capital equipment budget on an annual basis.

- Available for travel up to 20% of the time, including day, overnight and international travel as required.
- Participates in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format.

Position Qualifications
Education / Experience
- 4 year degree preferred with 3+ years maintenance management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have intermediate knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience.
Required to be based in Batu Kawan
Manufacturing Background
Requires BO chargeman certification
