Primary Responsibilities
The Warehouse Manager is instrumental in overseeing the efficient handling and distribution of fresh fruits, Overall responsibilities include ensuring the prompt delivery of top-quality fresh fruit to customers, while also upholding high standards of food quality and safety through efficient warehouse operations.
Inventory Management:
- Overseeing the receiving, storing, and tracking of fresh fruit inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Implementing inventory control measures to track and monitor fresh fruits inventory movements accurately.
Warehouse Operations:
- Planning and coordinating warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distribution of fresh fruits .
- Ensuring efficient workflow and optimizing warehouse layout for maximum productivity.
Quality Control:
- Implementing quality control measures to ensure the freshness and integrity of the fruit throughout the storage and distribution process.
- Implementing quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of fresh fruit inventory.
- Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and address any discrepancies
Team Management:
- Leading and supervising warehouse team Managing team members performance
- Effectively manage team members behaviour and conduct.
- Providing guidance and support to ensure a cohesive and motivated team.
Food Safety and Hygiene Compliance:
- Develop and implement food safety and hygiene standards, polices and processes based on HACCP standards.
- Implementing food safety and hygiene control measures to ensure the freshness and integrity of the fruits receiving, storage , packing and distribution process.

- GFSI Global Food Safety Initiative
- GMP Good Manufacturing Practice
- HACCP
- ISO 9001:2008
- ISO 22000:2005
- Safe Quality Food (SQF) Certification
- Malaysian Standard MS 1500:2009 Halal Food.
- Implementing safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for the warehouse.
Logistics Coordination
- Collaborating with operations/logistics and sales teams to coordinate timely deliveries and to optimize transportation routes for efficient distribution fruits stock.
- Resolving any customer inquiries or issues related to warehouse operations.
Equipment Maintenance
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Scheduling regular inspections and servicing to prevent downtime.
Customer Service:
- Working closely with sales and operations teams to address any issues related to product quality, delivery schedules, or customer inquiries.
Environment, Health and Safety
- Ensure all team members comply to the Companys EHS policy and standards.
- Conducting regular communication sessions to ensure all employees understand their obligations and responsibilities regarding EHS.
- Conducting regular inspections, audits, and assessments to identify any deviations or non-compliance issues.
- Take appropriate corrective actions and to maintain accountability and adherence to EHS guidelines.
Cost Management
- Monitoring and controlling warehouse expenses, such as labor costs, equipment maintenance, and utilities.
- Implementing cost-saving measures to improve operational efficiency.
Job Requirement and Qualification
1. Bachelors Degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
2. Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
3. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
4. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
5. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
6. Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
7. Leadership skills and ability manage staff
8. Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
9. Excellent communication skills
10. Able to speak & write in Mandarin
