Qualifications:

An applicant must possess the following criteria:

  1. A graduate of BS in Accountancy, BS in Accounting Technology or Management Accounting (required)
  2. With 4-6 years of experience in accounting.
  3. Analytical and detail oriented.
  4. Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  5. Prior experience and Knowledge of QuickBooks Online, XERO, and other
  6. Living in Tagum City or its vicinity.
  7. Capable of working the night shift (from 4pm to 1am PH Time)

Scope of work includes but not limited to:

  • Bookkeeping

  • Accounts Payable

  • Accounts Receivable

  • Payroll

  • USA Tax Filing

  • Reporting & Analytics


Role/Responsibilities:

  1. Navigate any internal and most client-facing software 
  2. Perform bank reconciliations with some help to resolve discrepancies
  3. Accurately categorize bank transactions with some guidance
  4. Carry out any process with clear instructions where minimal judgment is required, such as journal entries, bill entry, and data extraction
  5. Tie balance sheet accounts to schedules but may not be able to resolve discrepancies
  6. Assist in basic clean-ups and implementations with detailed instructions
  7. Reviewers rarely discover material errors because of their willingness to ask questions when uncertain
  8. Follows through with resolving review notes or responding to questions
  9. Proficiently use any internal or client-facing software in the Nimbl tech stack
  10. Perform bank reconciliations with minimal support
  11. Assist in basic clean-ups and implementations with some instruction
  12. Update documentation for familiar processes
  13. Ability and willingness to communicate with clients while following established processes and templates
