Qualifications:

An applicant must possess the following criteria:

  1. A graduate of BS in Accountancy, BS in Accounting Technology or Management Accounting (required)
  2. With 6 years and above of experience in accounting.
  3. Analytical and detail oriented.
  4. Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  5. Prior experience and Knowledge of QuickBooks Online, XERO, and other
  6. Living in Tagum City or its vicinity.
  7. Capable of working the night shift (from 4pm to 1am PH Time)

Responsibilities / Role:

* Navigate any internal and most client-facing software
* Perform bank reconciliations with some help to resolve discrepancies
* Accurately categorize bank transactions with some guidance
* Carry out any process with clear instructions where minimal judgment is required, such as journal entries, bill entry, and data extraction
* Tie balance sheet accounts to schedules but may not be able to resolve discrepancies
* Assist in basic clean-ups and implementations with detailed instructions
* Reviewers rarely discover material errors because of their willingness to ask questions when uncertain
* Follows through with resolving review notes or responding to questions
* Handle responsibilities of moderate complexity with increasing autonomy and ability to exercise judgment
* Proficiently use any internal or client-facing software in the Nimbl tech stack
* Perform bank reconciliations with minimal support
* Assist in basic clean-ups and implementations with some instruction
* Update documentation for familiar processes
* Ability and willingness to communicate with clients while following established processes and templates

Responsibilities of advanced compexity with increasing autonomy and ability to exercise judgment
* Create process documentation as outlined by client manager or above
* Create and document basic bookkeeping processes
* Assist in moderate to advanced clean-ups and implementations with some instructions
* Ability and willingness to communicate professionally and clearly with clients in unstructured ways under the client manager's direction


Special Requirements:

Confident: Able to communicate asynchronously and synchronously with U.S. counterparts using remote tools. Proactively asks questions when needed.
Workability:
Capable of giving and receiving feedback effectively and following through on feedback.
Autonomy:
Understands general principles and can apply them to specific scenarios independently. Able to fulfill tasks with minimal support after proper training. Deal Breaker: Reliance on consistent support from in-office.
Willingness to Learn:
Demonstrates a desire to grow career and skill set as outlined in career plans. Communication & Support: Able to communicate independently with clients and work autonomously without templates.
